Technology should help people connect.
Founder and CEO of BetterMaps
Thank you for visiting. Early in my career, I helped pioneer digital experiences, from founding one of the world's first internet cafes in New York City to helping launch the first mobile browser. I worked with global brands on technology meant to make life easier and more connected, but often saw it do the opposite.
Later, as a New York City teacher, I saw poorly designed classroom technology interrupt peer-to-peer and student-to-teacher learning. It often replaced discovery and connection with isolation. That showed me technology should enhance human interaction, not replace it.
That idea guides BetterMaps. We build tools that reduce friction, improve operations, and support revenue while keeping guests focused on learning, exploring, and connecting.
